Hello people! I decided to update my journal so that I could get some information out to some of you, who might be intrested. To the Finnish folks, I updated my website Siivettömät Online big time! :> I added a whole lot of new pictures to the gallery section and even updated Priestly Blues with 3 new pages. I finished one right after updating the three I just mentioned, so there will be more Blues in the very near future! And maybe the biggest update of all; I changed the layout of my site. Now it features my most recent Koneko-chan piece, where she is dressed as Black Rock Shooter Miku. And while I'm discussing Blues, I've been playing around with the idea of translating some of the pages at some point. :> We'll have to see how that goes! Also, I'm about the update my Youtube.com account with a new drawing video tonight. :> In case some of the people intrested haven't yet seen my latest video of the shading of the Deer girl picture, it can be found here! Hopefully this journal, including all of these updates, was relevant to at least some of you.

Oh yeah, and I'm attending the Helsinki Book fair in the late October!

Hello everyone! :> First of all I want to thank you guys for all the positive attention you have been giving to my recent pile of Kuroshitsuji II fanart. The series has now ended, but I'm yet to watch the last episode, so I guess the fanart wont be stopping anytime soon. Also, I want to thank all the Finnish folks that attended Tracon V this July! I had such a good time at the convention that I think I cried at some point. :,> Especially, I'd like to thank my darling ~Stumppa, ~QttQ and ~Pataatti for arranging me a surprise I never expected! ;_; You made my convention - and my summer - with your amazing Priestly Blues cosplay! I mean look at the picture photographed by ~miwozord! I'd also like to thank ~zinanah for her awesome chibi!Blues cosplay! <3



Anyway, I think I had a point to this update before I started. :,> I wanted to let you guys know that in case some of you have been curious about how I create my art, i have decided to try and post some videos about it on my old YouTube account, which emptied from old videos just some time ago. I posted a video where I'm linearting my most recent scanned piece. I'm also planning on posting videos of the coloring and shading process. I guess I kinda wanted due to the fact that I only had my art reservation entry up. So, now that I have the time to just hang about, I decided to write a little something what is going on in my life. I've been going school and now I'm working trhoughout the summer, and I think that's about it. I have been rather productive, but I have also found not posting all of my work online very relaxing. Don't get be wrong here, I love to publish my work and get feedback in return, but during the Spring and the early Summer, I was so stressed out that I think I might have exploded if I didn't kind of ... keep to myself for a change. And most of the productivity I've been doing circles around official work, such as posters and number badges for the <a href="[link]>Tracon V event. I was also active in the ChiliPow! mobile project until it went to its summer break. I'll be back in our game lab in the autumn, once this Summer is finally over and done with. I can't wait it to be over for several reasons, even though I do love the fact that it brings lots of fun conventions to my schedule. This Summer we already attended Desucon as YuRiPa and I also did a Hope Estheim cosplay during the second convention day. I'm going to wear the very same costumes (even though I plan to upgrade them a little) in Tracon, which is coming up within a few weeks. I'm also very excited that ~zinanah has hinted that she'll be doing Priestly Blues cosplay during Tracon! I can't wait! <3

Oh, and talking about Priestly Blues, I updated my website Siivettömät Online today. I was planning on updating two whole pages of Blues, but unfortunately I had to settle with just one, since the second one is still under way. The yet-to-be-updated page will include a whole new character to the comic. Stayy tuned! :>

Since I've been asked this a couple of times so far, I thought I'd write a journal entry for my commission services. I have been doing some drawing for money, even if it's not much yet. I'm still open to work on commissions at any time you, a commissioner, wish to order. I can do digital and traditional art, even if I usually make plenty of my pieces with digital methods these days. My methods are to collect all possible information/reference from the commssioner about the wanted picture and sketch and draw it before accepting payment. The commissioner will recieve a thumbnail of the finished product and when payment is made, the whole picture in desired resolution.

[WHAT CAN BE COMMISSIONED?]
I can draw both humans and animals - and anything in between. I love to do colorful stuff, but I can also bring the style towards something realistic, if that is what teh commissioner wishes for. I'm open to anykind of requests, but I'm a tad sensetive about drawing some mature themes such as porn, which I most likely will not draw.

[PRICES]
My prices vary a bit based on method, amount of characters and working time spent on the finished product. I will give the commissioner a proper estimate after making a sketch and after that, the price will only vary from 1 to 5 euros at best. All in all, my Prices are usually somewhere between 5 and 50 euros. I can make lineart, chibis, buttons, character sheets, flat color pictures and full, detailed digital and traditional work. Here are some examples:

+5€ for every additional character in every cathegory

And as for chibis and buttons, I do custom buttons for 10-15€ a piece and chibis 5-7€ piece. For payment, I take Paypal for international and bank transfer and money order for my fellow Finns. You can contact me trhough DA, trhough website, Skype, MSN or my e-mail - all of them available on my DA profile. If you order traditional, button or a chibi, I will make sure that it will be sent out for you as well with registered mail!

...it seems. :,D For the first time in the six years I've had my domain for my site Siivettömät Online, its monthly bandwidth of 5 gigabytes has been exceeded. I have no idea if its because I updated my comic and linked my site everywhere, or is it because of cutenews drawing such a huge deal of spam, but my site is now unavailable for the rest of the week. It will be back in the beginning of March, when my bandwidth clears, but until then, we have to do without Priestly Blues, which I will be updating again when my site comes back online. If the bandwith keeps exceeding in the future, I think I'll upgrade webhotel thing.

I just thought I'd let you guys know, in case someone was determined in visiting my site just now. It'll be back shortly! I'm thankful for every visit paid to my website! :3 Hopefully you guys will be visiting it in the future as well.

Welcome to the glorious year of 2010, people! I'm sorry I haven't updated before, but I thought there was only a little that I could write that would actually intrest anyone. Well, I don't know if this will be intresting as it is, but I'm still going to write about some things that have been going trough my mind during the start of this year. For first, I haven't been well and am still fighting to get treated for my illness, though my efforts don't seem to be carrying any fuit yet. I'm still not giving up, and have been channeling the stress caused by this situation to art and drawing in general. I've managed to pick up on my comic and have been able to find my artistic motivation again. Finally, I feel like my motivation is how it should be and I'm not stressing about what people want me to draw anymore. I mean, I spent the whole 2009 worrying about the development of my "style" and the quality of my works - up to the point, when I almost lost intrest. But now, that I haven't stressed about such things, I think I've been more productive during the past two months that I was trhoughout 2009. And now that I'm reflecting, I'm kinda sad that I had to go all whiny idiot during 2009. I should've just ... gone with it and made stuff that I wanted to, how I wanted to. I'm glad that I've managed to redeem myself.

Anyhoo~! I think that's enough of that. :3 In the lighter side, I managed to buy Xbox 360 for myself in December and have been very hapy with the console. I highly recommend it to everybody - especially now that Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII is only behind the corner! <3 I'm waiting for it with anicipation and am totally buying it once it hits the stores. The only thing that kind of shadows this joy is the fact that I'm running out of money if I want to be cosplaying and going to the dentist in March. : / It could be that I have to compromise with my cosplaying, since my beloved Mac broke down last month and now I have to get me a new one. I've already spent 300€ for new speakers and a screen to support both my Xbox and the new computer, which I haven't even paid for yet. It'll be another 800€ and I'm so happy that I saved some of my money from last year so I can afford it. So it's not like I will die of hunger or anything - I just have to compromise. I would open my commissions, but I have the inkling that no-one would be intrested in them. :,D

But hey, I also wanted to inform you that I updated my webside Siivettömät Online just last weekend! :3 I updated my comic "Priestly Blues" and added a few pictures to the gallery. Abd for the sake of advertising, I'm also part of a game development group making a new iPhone game "ChiliPow - go check that out as well! The game will be out this Spring, and I hope many people will be enjoying it. Dashi over and out~!

OK, so, here we are, straight from Animecon VII, where I sold for some 4 hours. Such a short period of time left me with some goods, even if it truly surprised me, how eagerly people were buying from me - especially on the print and bookmark agenda! Thank you so much for visiting our table or/and making a purchase! :3 I hope to see you all during 2010 as well. But this aside, I have some left overs from the convention. I haven't had too much before, but this time I had kinda miscalculated the amount of the buttons I made. I'm willing to ship these abroad as well, if someone from outside Finland takes an intrest. :3 All these buttons are handmade and very durable. Designs are mine, and the characters are from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Viral and Cytomander.

Hello people! I thought I'd update some after a short while, since school is almost over. I only have a few English presentation on Friday and then I'm officially off, taking a short break before my summer education program - I'm taking part so that I'll get money during the summer as well, since I don't actually have any summer job going on. :,D There will most likely be a comic from me in autumn featured in Animelehti, and I also have a few webdesign gigs going on, and next week, I'm planning on finishing one, if possible. Also, I should be making my Desucon goods, since me and my favourite fashion accesory :wolfself: got a table from the upcoming Desucon event. I've been thinking about reselling some of the stuff I sold at the Tracon event - with new ones, of course. :3 I've been thinking about reselling my "Drawing the sun" picture, but I'm not really sure about it yet. What do you think or want me to bring to the convention. Granted, I haven't had too much new material going on for the simple reason, that I've been trying to evolve as an artist and I haven't had the urge to show my recent doodles since I've drawn them for myself in order to make progress and find new featured from my evolving style. :3 And, of course, now I've been drawing some material to the upcoming convention.

My table will most likely have prints, bookmarks, chibis and buttons on offer. Such themes as Okami and Miyavi will be included and I'm working on some Death Note and Final Fantasy material as well, but as I do love things of my own creation, I also have some original characters available. :3 Most likely we are talking Koneko-chan and Priestly Blues, but I'm still not sure. If you feel like you would like to see something spesific from me, please do inform me! I've also been making some ice cream themed jewelry because of my current Lolita phase. We will see wether or not I'll be making some for my table as well. X3 I've only made a few necklaces for myself so far. But, yeah, do comment if you feel like you want something spesific to be solf in the convention! :3 Themes, series, old pictures, anything! I would very grateful if you gave me some suggestions.

Aaand, before I go, I must tell you guys, that I was offered an apartment after long last. It's rather big for one person, it's new and the rent isn't bad either, but as it is located in Hervanta, in another part of the city, I'm not sure about taking it. Well, to tell you the truth, it's not so much about the appartment being in Hervanta, but about the fact that the apartment is located in an area in which doesn't have a reputation to speak of. : / People say that students party very loudly in there, but then again, the apartment is NEW. I'll have to see myself on Friday, when we go check out the area. Wish me luck.

Ok, so~! Hello again DA! I decided to get writing again, since I've done some rearranging around my DA page, that including a spring cleaning I did in my gallery section and mapping out commissions and kiribans I still owe to people. I already noted some of the people who have commissioned me, that I will shortly begin to work on commissions which have been left on line due to my need to draw stuff for myself for a change. I know that sounds selfish, but I just had to clear out to which direction I'm willing to take my art and what I want from in myself. So, now that I have sort of come clean of what I want, I'm willing to continue on the unfinished business I have with several people. I hope to get all of the commissions done before the beginning of June after which I will most likely take a little break from commissions - at least I'm hoping to. I mean, apparently I won't have a summer job despite effort I put into it, but beause of the economic situation summer jobs seem to be a few. There is a bit of discussion about another comic gig, but I'll remain silent about it as long as it takes it to get confirmed. I also have webdesigning gig, which I should be finishing up before summer as well. It'll get me at least some money, but for the rest of the summer, I shall be living on student funds which I applied for last week. I'm taking on some courses in university so that I'll be able to get it.

But those things aside, one reason I wanted to write again was because I wanted to map out not only the things I have to do, but the DA artists whom I admire and who have influenced and inspired me greatly. I mean, inspiration is one of the major tings this community has given me, and so, I would like to put those people into my journal, since I have never done that before. I thought I'd put just a little update on the commissions I've taken so far. :3 I think I will be done with one or two bigger once until Mayday, after which I have to concentrate hevaily onto an illustratuon gig thing I have a possibility of getting. It's not too big on money, but then again, none of my commissions truly are, when compared to the amount of hours I spend with them. I'm still very, very glad, people are willing to get them from me. So a huge hug for your support, darlings~!

But yes, yes reason why I am writing at the moment, is conserning the cibi commissions I've taken. At the moment, I only have ~Patonki's under work. I think it'll be finished after week-end since I already have the little amount of lineart this little thing requires. :3 And as I've been catching up with my commissions rather heavily this week, I would like to know, if there are any others, who would like to commission a chibi from me. Now would be the good time, since I'm having a great amount of inspiration for drawing these things. If someone is intrested in commissioning a chibi from me, please note me. I would gladly take 1 or 2 of these to go with the one I'm finishing fro the ~Patonki. If you need reference of the chibis I'm prepared to do, please take a look at the picture underneath.

Ok, so, I think I have been a tiny bit too silent over the past few months. I mean, after Tracon, it seems I've done almost a complete www-shutdown and haven't been updating my DA gallery, nor my website, which I feel very sorry about. I mean, I love to update my site and I love to update my DA gallery too, but frankly, I have been feeling like I should do some searching for my artistic side and decide what I want from my style and my art - because first of all, I'm drawing for me. And it is pretty sad that it has taken such a long time for me to realise that little fact - but now that I have done so, I have felt very refreshed. I don't feel like I have to constantly apologize about which kind of creatures or characters I'm drawing anymore, since I should be the judge of what I do and do not want to create.

And yes, this thing I'm blabbering about now, has to do with the fact that I haven't been too keen on drawing them canines as eagerly in ages. It seems that this will be the case in future as well, since my latest pile skecthbooks have been filled with anatomy studies and faces, arms and legs for the most. :,D But don't take me wrong here - I'm not saying I'll never draw canine characters again, that's not the case, no no no~! I love my Monra and Demian way too much to leave them without any pictures and I'll be, of course, drawing those commissions now that I can finally get down to them. I'm sorry they have taken so darn long again! : / But anyways, as I was saying, about the what I should and should not draw, I wanted to get this thing off my chest before I post anything new. I just wanted you guys to know what I'm up to with this semi hiatus from posting my art to the all mighty interwebz. :3 And I wanted to inform you before there will be any "where are them doggies~?" questions. X3 At the moment I'm thinking about cleaning up my gallery some, before adding anything new. I don't have much of any finished stuff since I've been practicing for the most, but I promise you'll be hearing from me soon. ;3 During this very moment, I'm practicing on digital painting, which I've taken as a project for myself. I should be able to do that if I am ever to get a job from the field.

Hello darlings and welcome to the year 2009!^^ I can't really fit it into my head that it's actually 2009 already, but that isn't really a bad thing at all. I mean, it's always fun to see a new year starting and beginning to look forward to the future events of which I'm very excited about at the moment. I'm happy that I am now able to look forward and be heppy and mindful about the future - and in this case, the vey near future. I mean, there are a ton of conventions coming up this years, firts of them being the annual Tracon event which I attended on February 2008 as well. It was fun, even though it's just for one day which is the only negative thing I can say about it. This time I'm even going to cosplay with a costume of my own creation. :,D I ordered a wig from eBay just last week - the order including a wig for my sister and a friend of ours as well. The wigs are supposed to be arriving next week and I'm pretty anxious already. They are made of Kenkalon fibers which supposedly is a good fiber, at least based on what I've been reading around cosplay.com and all. :3 I hope they arrive soon so I can take a look. I was very anxious about this whole order, even though this is my second time ordering from eBay, but since it was not only my money that was involved, I wanted everything tho go smoothly. I mean, I don't want my sister and my friend to be dissapointed into the quality/style/color of the wigs since I was the one who suggested this whole group ordering thing. But if this goes smoothly, I could make another group order for cosplay wigs in the future. :3 I ordered this white/silver wig to myself since I'm going to be codplaying Christmas!Riku from Kingdom Hearts 2. The design isn't official so I can't participate in any competetitions or anything, but I'll still have fun with it. :3 But as for my friend and my sister, they're going to be participating into this pair competetion! I'm so excited for them! I mean, my sister, despite this is her first time making a cosplay costume, is so skilled! I'm having a lot of fun helpong her with the costume and observing how she puts it together. So far, I've painted some parts for her with fabric paint and made her a little flower thing out of fun foam. I hope people will like her costume in the Tracon event and I hope she'll get a positive experience from the cosplay show. :3

While these two darlings are cosplaying, I'll be selling prints, stickers, bookmarks and chibis at the artist alley! :3 So, I guess I'll be asting the Finnish folks yet again the same question, I've asked times before; what would you guys like to buy from me? I've been drawing this Electro Geisha print and as I feel that I kinda succeeded with it at some level, I think that is going to be one of the prints I'll be selling once it gets finished. So;

This is the third time I'm trying to update my journal since yesterday, my computer went to tilt and today DA just decided to wipe my post clean when I was sending it. So let us hope this will get trhough. So yeah, here I am, at my appartment, writing to you, first of all, about my new journal look. I didn't exactly try enything fancy with my css, but simply just made some dull graphics and a new header. Hopefully you like the picture of my fursona in it, even if I didn't so as much as shaded it. I tried to shade it, but I thought a simple look for this picture would be better. :3 Hopefully you guys agree with me. And as I'm babbling about pictures, I should tell you, that my commissions are open, yet again. I have 3 ongoing commissios at the moment and I've started to work on them but I guess I could always take new ones if people are willing to commission me. I mean, I always feel so honored when someone makes one. *3* And as I now have PayPal in my posession,  I can take money transfers from abroad as well. :3 And as for Finnish folks, payment can be made using money transfer and mailing, even though I really do prefer the money transfer option. Mail is always so uncertain.

I decided to open my commissions since I just finished the one :devlinearrt: made a while back some weeks ago. And I'm also trying to save up money as I am studying at the moment and I'm trying to maintain my money situation as it is, since I should afford living here. I haven't had any trouble doing so, but as cheap as I am there have been situations when I've just simply ran out of food. :,D I still have my savings from summer but I just wouldn't want to use them yet. And I should buy Christmas presents this month as well. I've decided to buy at least 4 presents and I think I'll begin drawing cards shortly, too. I can also do Christmas cards as comissions. :3 Hopefully someone will see my work worthy enough of a commission.

And as for other things, my birthday is coming up shortly. : O I'm turning 19 on 30th of November and I'm getting old~! I'm glad to see I still haven't grown up - and hopefully never will. And as for a birthday perent or whatnot, I've bought myself new pink headphones from Skullcandy and ordered a desk on Thuesday. The desk is supposed to arrive today and I'm waiting for it whit enthusiamn! *3* I mean, I'll finally have a working area! Finally! I've spent three months working on my chair/couch thingie and on the floor where my mac is currently located on. : P I'm glad I finally get to lift it up and place it a little higher - it's better to watch movies on it that way, since the mac is actually my DVD player as well. It has a great sound quality compared to your old pc, even if the mac is VERY old now. :,D

Ok, so, first off, I must apologize for being so darn unactive around DA after moving into my new appartment here at Tampere. :< I'm trying to gather my intrest and get back on DA, but as for the journal writing, I've been a lot more active around Livejournal.com! So, if you guys have any accounts in there, I'd love to know. I'm writing about my daily life at my new school in there - even in English so my friends abroad can understand what I'm saying as well. And as for my art, I've been drawing plenty while I've stayed in my new appartment, but I don't have any scanner laying around, so haven't been able to upload as much as I'm used to and I am so sorry about that. I hope to get a scanner before the end of this very year but we'll just have to see if I'll succeed in that. I'm trying my best though, but as I'm trying to cover all of my own expenses, saving for the scanner thing will probably take some time with Christmas and everything coming up.

But hey, id you darlings have LJ accounts, mine is "dashiana", as usual. X3
I'd be delighted to hear from you in there as well.

So anyways, I've been doing rather good around here in Tampere and I've begun to adjust to this place rather well, as I've even begun to call my appartment home in some measures. I still don't have much of furniture laying around, but little by little, I'm gathering things here. X3 Like last week, I got me a little reading lamp and as I moved my things here, I got me an alarm clock - which I'm not axctually using as an alarm clock, but still, :,D It's cute anyways and let us say it's part of the interior design, yes? I've also gotten more in term with my studies and met new people who had made it a lot more easier for me to get to know my new environment. I've even got me a new haircut these days of which I'm very, very happy about! :3 I think moving to Tampere has proven to be a very good thing, as I think I have become more in terms with myself as well. Maybe the new things around me let me see things about myself I've tried to cover during my life at the place I lived my entire life. :3 I've kinda begun to see what kind of personality I really am and what are the things that aren't maybe entirely me and the other way around. I think that reflects to the outside as well as I think I've begun to pay more interest into the way I dress - in a good way though. I've found many stores here which provide me with goods that have been only gettable only trhough internet and so on. Yay for that matter.

Oh, yeah, and before I go, I must inform you guys that I've finally gotten me that PayPal that I'ce blabbered for such a long time now. *3* I'll have to confirm my card this week into my account, but that's not a big consern to you. Which is, is that I think I can now take commissions from abroad as well. So, if any of you feel like you could order a picture from me, don't be too shy about it. :3 I would be delighted to draw some, even if I have a bit of a que formed into my line commissions at this very moment, too. :,D But still, I just wanted to let you people know.

Hello again, guys! I wanted to come and update my journal since I thought it was out of date with the art reservations for Animecon VI, which by the way was the best convension I've ever ben to! Thank you so much for all of those darling people who attended the convension and visited our table in the artists' alley. I was so happy to see my stuff selling so well and people acually liking the bookmarks and prints I had made. I was also very delighted to gain all sorts of feedback from my just published comis "Priestky Blues". In the end I only had 3 prints of my own to bring home from the convension which means that all the other 91 objects were sold! Yay for you darlings who bought something from me and and my darling :devwolself:! Aand of course, a huge thank you to those people who stopped by and chatted with us. I had so much fun! :3 I hope to see you guys around in the upcoming cons of 2008 and 2009. And I'm in hoped of getting a new comic/illustration assignment. Hopefully I'll get one so I can show people that I can draw something with a more complex storyline, since the majority of the critismn I recieved was about the simple storyline of the comic I drew.

But yeah, I guess that's about it. In other news, I'm moving out this week. It's rather frightening and I should be out looking for a new desk, curtains and such so I can pack my things and move to my new appartment I just went to see yesterday. It was far more spacious than I expected and I have alot of different ideas how to make my room cozy and artistic without having to paint the walls or something like that. The number one thing in my urchase list for this particular appartment is something scented since the smell in the apparment wasn't exactly horrid, but, umh, you know what I mea. :,D It wasn't that pleasant either. I also want to decorate it slightly with my limited budget. I decided to buy black paper and cut out squares to make a little decorative stripe on the boring white walls. I'm going to attach the squars with something that comes out easily so I can remove then as I please. I'm also thinking of bying a cheap carpet and making some pillows on the floor to sit on. I'll also be moving my bed into th appartment somehow. We'll just have to wait and see how that happens. Thih. X3 I'm also planning on painting a bookshelv so I can have some more colors in the appartment. I can't stand an all white environment, I'm telling you. Happily, I can take my all my comics, DVD's, both of my computers and my movie posters with me. I know my mother would think they're less important and as a matter of fact, they are, but they're really important to me and I'll addapt better when I have them on hand. :3 They inspire me.

I think I'll be redoing my journal look soon enough. The header picture that I have now doesn't quite live up to my current standards so I'll be redrawing it shortly. It can take a couple of weeks since I'll have to settle into my new appartment once I get there but I promise it'll be done soon enough. And in the mean time, I'll be playing a whole a lot of Sims 2! X,3 I bought one additional disk to it and installed it to my brand new lap top. I'm having a blast with it and I'm still not trhough with exploring "The Seasons" addittion I bought for it. I've hardly touched it so far. If there are any other the Sims 2 gamers out there, could you possibly point out some sites I could download new looks from? I've tried to search for some quality fantasy looks, but I'm still to find one. I would love to make some fantasy sims with horns and tails and so on! X,3 Thih. I'm such a child - and I'm loving it.

I'm sorry folks, but this journal is mainly for the Finnish people, who are going to take part in the annual anime/manga/japanese pop culture convension, Animecon VI, so I'll be writing this in Finnish. I was asked if my prints, bookmarks or other sellables could be reserved before hand so I decided to make a journal to give people the oppertunity to do just that. This way, I can also gain a little knowledge of how many prints I should take of each drawing I've done so far. There will be updates!

Taidevarauksia voi tehdä vielä huomisaamuun asti, jonka jälkeen suljen varaukset, sillä lähden Tampereelle tavaroineni jo perjantaina aamupäivällä. Varaukset voi noutaa conipaikalta, Talvipuutarhasta, jossa taidekuja pidetään kumpanakin päivänä klo 10 - 16! Olen taidekujalla kumpanakin päivänä, mutta saatan joskus olla poissa pöydän takaa johtuen siitä, että pyhitän viikonloppua myös cosplayaamiselle. So, if you read my last journal from June, I guess you're already aware that I was actually planning on selling some art prints and bookmarks and such in the annual Animecon event, held in Tampere this year. Well, my darling friend ~Stumppa decided to be a peach muffin and made us a table reservation in the artists' alley and now we have a selling table - horray! I love ya, Wolself honey! *3* So, as Animecon V is only about 3,5 weeks away, I want to tell all you Finnish Animecon folks to get ready. I'd me delighted to see you guys in the event. Even if you're not planning on buying anything from us, please, come and say hello! : ) I think I'll be easy enough to recognize, since I'll be cosplaying at the very same time we're selling. I'll be that Dio from Last Exile, the one in a long white cape and a short white wig.^.~ I'll have a larger collection of bookmarks on offer this year and a little less prints, since I guess I won't have too much time to make so many new ones, even if the deadline for my comic is this week. But in addition to those, I'll have little paper chibis and maybe even a cuople of buttons on offer. Hopefully they will find themselves in good hands after the event. :3 Thih.

And hey, while we're at it,maybe someone could give ideas if there would be something else people would want to see from me. I mean, in addition to those bookmarks, buttons, prints and chibis. If there is something else on your mind, please let me know. And you can always give me ideas what kind of prints you would want. And the most impotant of all, which of my already uploaded pieces would you like to see in a printed form, if there is any? :3 Please, let me, know, even if you're not coming into the convension. It would be a big help for me, since I've only chosen two prints I would like to sell. The other one is still in progress and the other one was already on offer in the Tracon event, which I considered a huge success. X,3 I mean, I had so much fun in that event! Let's make this year's Animecon even better, shall we?

But yeah, I think that's about it, then - about Animecon, I mean. I thought I'd write about it, since the confirmation of our table reservation came today. And in the other news, I might inform you guys that I'm totally hooked on Death Note right now, I swear! I watched th series to the 25th episode during one week in October last year, when my parents were on a vacation in Hong Kong. I guess you could say I dropped it for obvious reasons (Poor Rem, she so didn't deserved, what happened to her. I hate that MisaMisa so much right now! ;_; ) but I would now like to finish the series and watch the second movie, since I only watched it halfway. And I heard there has been a new movie release as well! :3 A movie about L, or so I heard. I would so like to see that. Has anyone around seen it? The DVD release hasn't speard too far yet, even if it was released in February, at least I haven't found any American DVD's of it yet.

OMG, OMG, i got accepted into TTVO, a college of media and arts in Tampere! 8D This is so not real! I'm so excited and happy and surprised and ... everything! I never actually believed I would get in! Especially after the interview I felt I totally messed up. OMG, now I can pick up my future plans and get myself a laptop and a internet connection after long last. And in the mean time I'll wait for the answer from Metropolia, which is another college I applied for. I guess Metropolia is the college I'd like to study slightly more in, but getting into Tampere - that is so beyond awesome! *3* I wouldn't regret one bit if I didn't get to Metropolia college now.

So, hello again you darlings on the other end of the computer desktop! I’m up and writing again, and as you can see, I even updated my gallery with one lousy flat color commission, lol. X,D But hopefully, in time we will have more pictures and honestly speaking, I even have one I have almost colored and finished with Seashore, but I won’t say what it is until it’s completely done – I’ll just hint you that if you like my character Demian, it is very likely that you’ll like this picture. Hopefully it’ll turn out ok. :3 But Anyways, I’m kinda writing from work now, as I actually got me a summer job from the same place my father works. Maybe some of you guys know about it, it’s this huge company that makes paper and paper machines or such called Metso. So, I’m working in one of the gazillion offices of Metso and apparently, there isn’t really that much to do. There are four of us summer workers , two of younger kind and then two of us “older” kind which basically means that the older people, me and Aua, are over 18 years of age and the younger ones are under 18 – 16 or 17 would be my guess. And as there are so many of us, there isn’t really much to do here. I’m trying to learn Excel incase someone has something Excel  related work for me and on the side of that I have been organizing CDs, cards and photos into plastic pockets and files for about 4 days now. I’m almost done with the organizing now, I’ll only have to make some lists of contents and such. And in addition to that, there isn’t much anything more to do – at least for today, I guess. My father, who works here and organizes things for me to do, is on his regular trip to Portugal and promised o send me some material for tomorrow and said that if I have nothing to do, I could always surf the internet, even though when I got this lap top on the behalf of the company, the instructions said that I’m not supposed to use it for any personal reasons. But as the other workers said that it’s fine to surf if your daily work is done, I decided to update for a bit. And that’s about it for my daily “how are yous”. X3

The thing I really wanted to write about, was that I got a sweet comic gig! 83 My very first official comic commission and I’m beyond excited! I mean, this Finnish magazine called “Anime-lehti” asked, if I could draw a colored, three page comic for their July’s issue and being very flattered of such request, I agreed to make it. :3 I still can’t fit it in my head that they’re actually going to publish a comic I’ve drawn. They’re going to freakin’ publish it! *dances da Dashi dance* I’m sorry to shout it out like this, but this is a chance I’ve been looking forward to and I’m not going to let it go! Maybe I’ll be able to get some other comic gigs as well, who knows? One can always hope, eh? But first, I’ll have to finish up the comic that was asked of me by “Anime-lehti”. I have clear idea what I’m going to draw for it, and Ive already scripted the whole thing and made layouts so I think it can be done in time, even if I’m having there 8-hour-long days at work. But since it’s pretty easy around here, (even if they pay you like, almost 1700 euros per month! O_O) I can always try to ink it every here and there, when I’ve got the time. And of course, I have some time during the evenings as well – even though they feel really short when you work from 8am to  4pm and add 1,5 bus trips to that amount. I’m happy though, that I got this job! X3 Now I can afford to go to Animecon, buy a lot of stuff and maybe I’ll even cosplay some! :3

And speaking about Animecon of this year, held at Tampere in the end of July, I’ll most likely be selling prints and other paper products there like I did in Tracon in the beginning of this very year! :3 And because my comic is going to be published with the July’s issue of “Anime-lehti” right after the Animecon event, I’ll be able to promote it a bit in there. I’ve had these great visions of drawing a little advertising poster and stuff, but we’ll see if I can scratch up some spare time for it. Hopefully there will be buyers, like there were in Tracon in February! I mean, you guys, who visited our stand and bought something or just stayed and chatted with us – you were so amazing! Hope to see you in Animecon as well. And as for my cosplaying dilemma, I’m not colsplaying any when I’m selling and promoting my stuff, but I hope to get to cosplaying at some point! : O I mean, I don’t have any costume right at the moment, but because I had this killer graduation party a week ago and I’m having my payday this Friday, I have money to produce one. And I think I can get my sister or the professional sewer living next door to make me one. And I might just have hunch what I’m going to cosplay. I had this idea I’d coslplay Meowth from Team Rocket, but I’m not really feeling like it anymore, since I know it’s most likely going to be hot in July and the costume is really thick. It was my first tryout of making a costume in one course I took of sewing. I made the tail, and the body suit, but it’s still missing the hood for years and all four paws. I’m not going abandon the idea though, but I’d like to wear something slightly lighter – like Dio from Last Exile, I would be so happy to get to cosplay him! X3 I’d have to buy a wig, but I’m willing to sacrifice as much. I’ll just have to discuss this ides with our neighbor who usually provides me with advice when it comes to buying fabrics and sewing and stuff like that.
But yeah, I think that’s about it. Hopefully you had the energy to read all the way down here, even if my blabber wasn’t that interesting – I just felt like writing because I wanted you darlings to know that new art is on the way and I also wanted to know if there are some others who are coming to the Finnish Animecon 2008 this year? I’d love to know! :3 Oh, and for those people who are waiting for me in the RPG forums, I’m so sorry I haven’t had the chance to log in! D : I’m working all day and PHPBB forums are banned here –I can’t get t them from here during the week, but I’ll try again Friday, mm’kay? ^^ But feel free to contact me by Deviant art’s note system or send me e-mail into my dashisoup@yahoo.com!
