Behold! : D It's Monra - after a long time I decided to make a "proper" picture of him after dozens of doodles I've made. Yet, I don't know if this qualifies as "proper". It's kinda boring, yet I enjoyed making it. And as someone requested something traditional to my DA gallery, I thought I should post this to keep a certain kind of balance between the computer colored pictures and the traditionaly colored pictures.
Made this partly because I wanted to draw Monra REALLY bad and partly because I was listening to this Christmas hymn (yeah, at this time of year I did!) which had very beautiful lyrics to it and as I found the hymn quite religious, I automatically thought about Monra. Yet, this picture doesn't really fit the hymn, but I promise you I will draw one that will! I just have to! : ) And on the backgrounds, there are some trees or twigs or whatever. XD Thought I'd draw those because as I went jogging last saturday, there was a full rain of falling leaves. It was beautiful - yet the beauty leaves us only with bald trees, which I think are beautiful in a way as well. There is something about the starting winter in the air, perhaps. ; ) With markers and colored pencils, yup. art and character [c] dashi 2007 - Monra is a precious character of mine, don't copy him, ok? |
