I know my latest human art with my darling Yeoh wasn't something to be called a huge success among you guys, but I still wanted to submit this one - even if it is huma...ish art. X,D I mean, he isn't human exactly but a creature like that. This is Fullmetal Alchemist FanArt. I've been drawing it like crazy these past weeks even though I should've been doing everything else. But this was something that struck me all of the sudden when I was reading for my final examination in history yesterday. I mean, there's this Finnish song that they keep playing on the radio and it's called something like "Mun koti ei oo täällä" (translates something like "My home isn't here"). I haven't paid too much attention to the song, since it's not the kind of music I would most likely listen, but now that I heard it the whole way trhough, I got this weird idea based on the chorus of the song. The singer just keeps singing "Anna mun mennä, Anna mun mennä" which means something like "Let me go, let me go." I'm not sure if people get my idea, but the character, Greed from FMA, is fading away, letting go. And on his face, you can see some tears and this expression of salvation ... or something. He looks like, or at least to me, as he is saying "Let me go". : )

So yeah, it's Greed from FMA, hopefully you recognize him, since he doesn't have those smexy sunglases or jacket on at the moment. I drew him in his carbon armor which is apprently braking apart in here. Hopefully you can tell it's him. X,3 The expression isn't neither that "Greedy", but in the animation, I loved that this character had a certain softer side to him. It was so sad how it all ended up for him though. : ( I mean, I think he was a good guy beneath all that. He cared about things beyond himself - at least that's what I think.

Gosh, that's a lot of blabber. X,D Before a shut up about this, I want you guys to know that this was done with Seashore again. : ) The lines were done with traditional methods though - scanned and colored, as usual. Next time I'll promise to add some traditional art. I've been making traditional as well, but I just haven't uploaded it because it's FMA as well. And I guess this picture is also based on a feeling I had yesterday. But I guess we all have those feelings from time to time when we are a bit stressed. : ) Hopefully you enjoy this picture, even if it doesn't include any animals. And hopefully you had the energy to read my "artist's blabber" all the way down here.
